Notes:

  1. Families who enroll their child(ren) in the 2008 – 09 school year will be considered as Founding Families and will enjoy future discounts off regular tuition in the next two years. Subsequent to that, need-based financial aid will be especially generous for Founding Families during the time their children are enrolled at Shu Ren.
  2. Part-time programs are only available for pre-K students.
  3. Tuition payments can be made by check drawn on a US bank, by money order, or by direct deposit from another bank.
  4. If there are open spaces and a qualified student enrolls in the course of the academic year, tuition will be prorated accordingly.

OPTIONAL PROGRAMS WITH ADDITIONAL FEES

Shu Ren offers the following optional programs: Extended Day Care program, After-School Enrichment classes, Vacation and Holiday Camps, and Summer Programs.

Extended Day Care (EDC)
Extended Day care is available from 7:30am to 8:30am and from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Morning care from 7:30am to 8:30am is free for full-time students (i.e., enrolled for 5 full-days). Shu Ren offers three payment plans for extended day care: an unlimited usage package for those needing daily care (excluding vacation camps and summer camps), a pre-arranged regular use plan for those needing care a few days a week, and drop in care for those needing occasional care.

* If families with students enrolling in 2-4 full days want to have unlimited child care during the days the students are at school, the child care cost will be prorated from $2,700 / year.

After-School Enrichment Classes
 Schedule and fees of enrichment classes will be announced each fall and spring.

Vacation and Holiday Camps

There were 18 days in fall, winter, and spring breaks during which Vacation and Holiday camps are held. Enrollment in these camps is optional and can be made on daily or weekly basis.

CAPITAL LEVY

A Capital Levy of $1,000 is assessed for each newly enrolled student to defray costs from capital enhancements (due with enrollment contract). Families with part-time students will pay the prorated amount. Families who receive financial assistance are exempt from the capital levy.
